Faith Racers exists to encourage, challenge, and empower people in motocross to live like Jesus.

Our Vision

To develop a chain of Jesus followers who make disciples in the motocross community.

A disciple is a Faith Racer who wants to live like Jesus. A person who loves God and those in motocross. A person who is sent to make and mentor disciples of Jesus.

Our Story

The call of motocross ministry began many years ago in the heart of Andre Pene. Andre was in his youth with only a few things keeping him grounded, a dream of becoming a professional motocross racer and a bike that he rode nearly everyday. His dream eventually came true as he made it to the professional level of racing as a privateer from 1994-1997. Although Andre was competing at the elite level in the sport of motocross, he felt a void in his life. He decided to give his life to God near the end of the 1995 outdoor national season after a friend led him to Christ.

After several years of maturing in his walk with God, he began to wonder how he could combine his passion of motocross with his love for God. After much time in prayer, God began to move in Andre’s heart to encourage, challenge and empower his motocross family to be all that God made them to be. Andre met Tony Jewah, founder of Faith Racers Ministry, at a dinner meeting in early 2006. The two of them happened to sit by one another and the rest is history! Andre’s passion became a reality when he started helping Tony teach at the track side church gatherings around Alabama. Tony handed over the ministry to Andre in the summer of 2006.

Faith Racers Ministry continues as an incorporated non-profit 501(c)3 as a network of disciple makers. Becoming what Faith Racers is today did not happen by chance or overnight. God’s hand has been in it from the beginning and it will continue to shape this ministry into the future. We look forward to serving the motocross community and being a positive force in the world we live.
